Jakarta, Business Asia – The Belt & Road Chinese Center (BRCC) Indonesia, a hub for Chinese language and cultural exchange, has officially been recognized as the world’s best BRCC.
This prestigious recognition was announced during The 2nd Belt and Road Chinese University and Overseas Partner Exchange Conference held in Guangzhou, China, which brought together 100 leading Chinese universities and over 500 international delegates from 54 countries.
The selection of BRCC Indonesia as the best BRCC globally was based on recognition of its communication, service excellence, development progress, teamwork, and establishment of new partnerships.
Veby Millian Kesuma, S.S, MTCSOL, Director of BRCC Indonesia, shared, “We are honored to achieve this milestone, our ongoing mission is to raise awareness about the vast opportunities for studying in China and to foster collaborations between local educational institutions and their Chinese counterparts, contributing to the improvement of Indonesia’s education system. This recognition motivates our team to continue growing and enhancing our services for the community.”
One form of collaboration and partnership promoted by BRCC is the cooperation agreement between Wahid Hasyim University from Indonesia and Jiangsu University of Technology from China. This collaboration is expected to open opportunities for student exchanges, joint research, and the development of innovative academic programs between the two institutions.
Additionally, there are other collaborations that were also formalized through this event, such as the partnership between LP Maarif NU Central Java and Tarumanagara Foundation with Xinya College from Jakarta.
In addition to being named the world’s best BRCC, BRCC Indonesia has also been officially selected as one of the organizers for entrance examinations to Chinese universities. This role underscores its commitment to opening pathways and making access to higher education in China more accessible for Indonesian students.
Collaboration with Tutoravel
BRCC Indonesia is proud to announce its strategic collaboration with Tutoravel to organize an international Education Expo across major cities in Indonesia starting in February 2025.
This expo will feature at least 25 leading universities from China, offering Indonesian students a valuable opportunity to explore higher education prospects in China.
The events are scheduled to take place in three major cities Semarang, Jakarta, and Surabaya with the aim of expanding access to information and strengthening connections between Chinese universities and prospective Indonesian Students.
Willy Chlandra, Director of Tutoravel, stated, “We hope this initiative will serve as an educational bridge that opens more academic opportunities and fosters cross-country collaborations. By bringing top Chinese universities directly to Indonesia, we aim to provide students with easier access to achieve their academic aspirations.”
